Question 1

Can I use Epaderm Moisturising Cream on my face, or is it only for the body?

Accepted Answer

It’s technically safe for the face, but many users (including some on Reddit) report it feels too greasy for facial skin, especially in the T-zone. For severe facial eczema or dryness, it works well as a short-term barrier—but for daily wear, most people prefer a lighter lotion.

Question 2

Why do some reviews mention the pump breaking before the cream is finished?

Accepted Answer

A common complaint on social media is that the 500g pump mechanism can fail midway through use. To avoid frustration, we recommend keeping the bottle upright, and if the pump stops, twist off the top and use a clean spatula. Some users prefer transferring the cream to a jar.

Question 3

Is this cream suitable for children with eczema, and does it sting on broken skin?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it’s often recommended by dermatologists for kids with eczema—many parents on TikTok use it as a daily moisturizer. However, when applied to cracked or heavily irritated skin, a small minority report a brief stinging sensation. We suggest doing a patch test on intact skin first.

Question 4

How does Epaderm compare to Aveeno or CeraVe for dry skin?

Accepted Answer

Epaderm is heavier and more emollient than most drugstore alternatives—it’s designed for medical-grade dryness, not just cosmetic softness. If you have very tight, flaky skin (especially from psoriasis), Epaderm often wins. But for everyday convenience or a non-greasy feel, Aveeno or CeraVe may be better options.

Question 5

Can I get a refund if the cream doesn’t work for my skin?

Accepted Answer

Yes—if purchased directly from the official website or authorized retailers, returns are accepted within 30 days, though you may need to cover return shipping. Many buyers on YouTube suggest starting with the smaller 125g tube to test compatibility before committing to the 500g pump.
