Question 1

Will these controllers work with my Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S?

Accepted Answer

No—these are designed specifically for Xbox 360, Xbox 360 Slim, and Windows PCs (Windows 11/10/8/7). They will not connect to Xbox One or Series consoles. Many TikTok users have pointed out this confusion, so please double-check your console before ordering.

Question 2

Do both controllers use the same USB dongle, or do I need two separate ones?

Accepted Answer

Each controller requires its own dedicated dongle to sync wirelessly. The two-pack includes two controllers and two dongles, but note that the dongles are slightly wider than original Xbox 360 ones. Some buyers on Reddit suggest using a USB extension cable if the dongles don’t fit side by side in your console’s ports.

Question 3

How is the build quality and battery life compared to official Microsoft controllers?

Accepted Answer

Most users praise the upgraded joysticks for their responsiveness and comfort. However, a smaller group reports inconsistent quality—sticky buttons or drifting sticks after a few months. Battery life is similar to official controllers (about 25–30 hours with standard AA batteries). For the price of a two-pack, many find it a fair trade-off, though heavy gamers may prefer the durability of official hardware.

Question 4

Can I return these if they don’t fit my Xbox 360 ports?

Accepted Answer

Yes—returns are accepted through the seller or platform you purchased from. If the dongle width prevents a proper fit, Amazon reviews show that buyers have successfully returned them for a refund. Some users recommend testing with a USB extension cable first, which often solves the spacing issue.

Question 5

Are these controllers good for PC gaming, or do they require extra setup?

Accepted Answer

They work seamlessly on Windows 10 and 11—just plug the dongle in, and Windows recognizes them as standard Xbox 360 controllers. No extra software or drivers needed. PC gamers on forums often call them a budget-friendly option for emulators, Steam, or multiplayer games. Just remember each controller needs its own dongle.
