Question 1

Is this made of real jade, and how should I clean it?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is crafted from genuine, polished jade stone. To clean, simply wipe it with a soft cloth after each use. For a deeper sanitization, you can gently wash it with mild soap and lukewarm water, then dry it thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or extreme temperatures to preserve the stone's finish.

Question 2

I'm new to gua sha. Is it easy to use, and could I hurt my skin?

Accepted Answer

It's designed for beginners and pros alike! The heart shape contours naturally to your face, neck, and under-eyes. The key is to use gentle, upward pressure—you should never press hard enough to cause pain. Many TikTok users recommend starting with a facial oil and following a short tutorial (plenty are available online) to master the basic strokes for relaxation and puffiness.

Question 3

How durable is it? I've heard some gua sha tools can chip easily.

Accepted Answer

While the polished jade is smooth and robust for daily skincare use, it is a natural stone and can be brittle if dropped on hard surfaces. We recommend storing it in its included pouch and handling it with care. Most of our customers find it perfectly durable for its intended purpose when used and stored properly.

Question 4

What exactly can I expect from the "cooling effect" I've read about in reviews?

Accepted Answer

The natural jade stone stays cooler than your skin temperature at room temperature, providing a refreshing, soothing sensation when gliding across your face—perfect for de-puffing, especially in the morning. As noted in many reviews, this initial cooling sensation is pleasant and effective, but the stone will gradually warm with contact. It is not designed to stay cold like a tool kept in the freezer.

Question 5

Who is this tool best suited for, and what is your return policy?

Accepted Answer

It's ideal for anyone looking to add a moment of relaxing, mindful skincare to their routine, particularly those targeting facial tension, mild puffiness, or seeking enhanced product absorption. If it doesn't meet your expectations, we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Please contact our customer support team for a hassle-free return or refund.
