Question 1

Can this lamp cure all types of gel, including thick builder gels and dark polishes?

Accepted Answer

This lamp is designed primarily for thin layers of soft gel polish, top coats, base coats, and especially rhinestone glue or liner gel. Many TikTok reviewers love it for quick nail art touch-ups. However, for thicker products like builder gels, polygels, or very dark opaque shades, you may need a longer cure cycle or a higher-wattage, corded lamp. We recommend testing a single coat first to ensure full hardening.

Question 2

How long does the battery last, and can I use it while charging?

Accepted Answer

On a full charge, you can expect about 2–3 hours of intermittent use, which is enough for a full manicure on both hands. It also supports pass-through charging, meaning you can plug it in and use it even if the battery is empty. A quick tip from users: keeping the lamp at 45 or 60 seconds instead of the 99-second setting helps preserve battery life.

Question 3

Does the lamp get hot during use, and will it hurt my nails?

Accepted Answer

Some users with sensitive nail beds have mentioned a brief heat spike during the 60-second setting, especially with darker or thicker gels. This is normal for UV lamps due to the exothermic reaction of gel curing. To avoid discomfort, you can use the lower time settings (10 or 30 seconds) or cure in short bursts. The sliding eye-protection cover helps block UV rays, but it's best to keep your hand still during the cycle.

Question 4

Is the eye-protection cover sturdy, or will it break easily?

Accepted Answer

The sliding cover is made of lightweight plastic and can feel a bit loose or rattly out of the box. While it does effectively block UV light during curing, it's not built like a tank. We advise handling it gently—don't drop the lamp or force the cover. Many users simply keep the cover removed for storage and only slide it into place when in use.

Question 5

What if the lamp stops charging or stops working after a few months?

Accepted Answer

While most units are reliable, a small number of users have reported issues with the micro-USB port becoming loose over time. This is why we offer a 30-day return window and a 90-day warranty for manufacturing defects. If you run into trouble, please reach out to our customer support team—they'll help with a replacement or refund. For best port longevity, avoid yanking the cable and consider using a magnetic charging adapter.
