Question 1

Will these pads stay in place all day, or will they slide around?

Accepted Answer

Many users find they stay put well inside closed-toe shoes like pumps or loafers. However, if you're wearing sandals, flats with wide openings, or shoes with slippery linings, they can shift—especially during active walking. Applying them to clean, dry insoles and pressing firmly helps. For strappy or open styles, some TikTok reviewers recommend skipping this style and choosing pads with stronger adhesive.

Question 2

Can I use these if I have wide feet or a high instep?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but keep in mind they add a small amount of thickness to the ball of your foot. If your shoes are already snug, you might notice pressure. People with narrow to average-width feet tend to find the fit more comfortable. If you have very flat feet or a high arch, these provide cushioning but won't correct alignment issues.

Question 3

How long do they last, and are they reusable?

Accepted Answer

Each set of pads is designed for multiple uses, but the adhesive weakens after a few wears—especially if removed and reapplied. Most users get 3–7 days of wear before needing to replace them. Hand-washing with mild soap and air-drying can extend the life, but they're not as durable as silicone-only pads. Many buyers stock up on the 4-pack to rotate.

Question 4

Will these fit in men's dress shoes or larger shoe sizes?

Accepted Answer

The pads are marketed as one-size-fits-all, and they generally work well in men's dress shoes up to about size 11. Men with sizes 12 and up often report the pads don't hit the metatarsal area correctly. If you wear larger sizes, you may want to look for extra-large or gender-specific ball-of-foot cushions that offer a better anatomical fit.

Question 5

Do these actually relieve ball-of-foot pain from high heels?

Accepted Answer

For occasional heel wearers, yes—many find they reduce pressure and prevent that "burning" sensation at the front of the foot. They work best as a comfort layer rather than a medical solution. If you have chronic metatarsalgia or plantar fasciitis, several Reddit threads suggest these are a temporary fix, not a replacement for custom orthotics. For mild-to-moderate discomfort from a night out or long workday, they're a solid, affordable choice.
