Question 1

Will the neckband fit comfortably under a bike helmet or motorcycle helmet?

Accepted Answer

Many cyclists and bikers have mentioned the neckband sits stiffly under helmet straps. If you wear a full-face or tight-fitting helmet regularly, this isn’t the most comfy choice. For gym, walking, or casual desk use, it’s fine. If helmet-wearing is a daily thing, consider sticking with smaller truly wireless earbuds instead.

Question 2

How’s the battery life in everyday use—does it really last 30 hours?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it hits close to 30 hours with moderate volume. Most users report charging once a week for an hour of daily use, and even 10 minutes of charging gives you a solid 10 hours. Just keep in mind that heavy bass or keeping volume at max will drain it a bit faster, but it's still among the best in this price tier.

Question 3

Are these earphones compatible with iPhones or non-OnePlus Android phones?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely—they use standard Bluetooth 5.0, so they pair easily with any phone (iPhone, Samsung, Pixel, etc.). However, you won’t get the pop-up pairing animation or Dolby Atmos toggle unless you’re on a OnePlus device. The app and features like “Fast Pair” are Android-first, but music and calls work perfectly across all phones.

Question 4

I’ve read some reviews about the rubber coating peeling after a few months. Are these still durable?

Accepted Answer

A small fraction of users have reported the rubber on the neckband peeling after 4–6 months, especially in hot climates or if stored twisted in tight pockets. Most owners have zero durability issues, but if you’re rough on gear (tossing in bags, sitting on them), you might notice wear sooner. Keeping them in the provided case helps a lot. The IP55 rating means they handle sweat and light rain fine.

Question 5

Do these earbuds have active noise cancellation (ANC)?

Accepted Answer

No, they rely on passive noise isolation from the silicone ear tips. The bass-heavy tuning does block out a fair amount of engine drone or low hums, but you’ll still hear chatter and train announcements. If you desperately need silence in a café or commute, you’ll want to look at ANC-equipped pairs like the Realme Buds Air 3. For most, the subwoofer-like bass makes the world dull enough.
