Question 1

Is the calendar itself sturdy, and can I reuse it or hang it on the wall?

Accepted Answer

The calendar is made of festive printed cardboard and is designed as a one-time-use seasonal item. While you can certainly prop it up on a desk or shelf, many reviewers note the perforated doors can tear if you're not careful. If you're looking for a sturdy, reusable advent calendar to hang, some creative buyers suggest purchasing one separately and filling it with your favorite Burt's Bees balms.

Question 2

What flavors are included, and will I get duplicates or flavors I don't like?

Accepted Answer

This Amazon Exclusive set includes 12 surprise tubes from Burt's Bees' popular flavor lineup, which typically includes favorites like Juicy Cherry, Vanilla Bean, and Peppermint, along with seasonal or special varieties. Part of the fun is the surprise element! While the majority of buyers love the variety, a small number of reviews mention getting a flavor that wasn't their favorite. If you or your gift recipient strongly prefer only 1-2 specific scents, a standard multi-pack of those flavors might be a better fit.

Question 3

Is this a good gift for an adult, or is it more for kids?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Social media and reviews are full of adults who adore this calendar. It's consistently mentioned as a perfect, thoughtful gift for coworkers, friends, teachers, and family members. The sentiment is that it brings a little bit of nostalgic joy and self-care to the holiday season, making it a huge hit with teens and adults alike.

Question 4

How does the value compare to just buying lip balms individually?

Accepted Answer

You're paying for both the product and the experience. The cost per balm is slightly higher than buying a standard multi-pack, but you're also getting the festive advent calendar format, the fun of daily surprises, and exclusive packaging that makes it gift-ready. Most reviewers feel the joy and convenience it brings as a gift or personal treat offers excellent value for the money.

Question 5

When is the best time to buy this, and is it really an Amazon Exclusive?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this specific "12 Days of Joy Advent Calendar" bundle is an Amazon Exclusive. Our biggest tip is to buy it early! It's a wildly popular seasonal item that often sells out quickly in October and November. To avoid disappointment and potential markups from third-party resellers, we recommend adding it to your cart as soon as you see it available.
