Question 1

I see it says “Support Cat8 Cat7.” Does that mean it performs like a Cat8 cable?

Accepted Answer

Not exactly—this is a Cat6 cable that works with Cat7 and Cat8 ports, but your speeds will be limited to Cat6 specs (up to 10Gbps at shorter distances). Many TikTok and Reddit users pointed out this label can be misleading. If you need true Cat8 performance, look for a shielded round cable rated for 40Gbps.

Question 2

Is the flat design durable enough for everyday use? Can I run it outdoors?

Accepted Answer

For indoor use along baseboards, under rugs, or behind furniture, it’s excellent—flexible and nearly invisible. However, the flat jacket isn’t UV-resistant or fully waterproof. Outdoor users on YouTube report it becoming brittle after a few months in direct sun or rain. For outdoor runs, consider a round, UV-rated outdoor cable instead.

Question 3

How reliable are the 25 included clips and 4 straps?

Accepted Answer

They’re a nice bonus for quick setup, but the adhesive isn’t strong enough for rough surfaces or high-traffic areas. Several buyers mentioned clips falling off within weeks. For a permanent install, we recommend using your own cable staples or adhesive hooks—especially if you’re routing along a baseboard in a busy room.

Question 4

Will this cable give me low latency for online gaming on my PS5 or PC?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely—most gamers report a stable, lag-free connection. The 10Gbps bandwidth is more than enough for high-speed gaming and 4K streaming. Just keep the total cable run under 165 feet to maintain full speeds. Many console players in our reviews switched from Wi-Fi and noticed a big drop in ping.

Question 5

What if the cable is shorter than expected or doesn’t work with my router?

Accepted Answer

The cable is typically within 1–2% of the listed 50 ft, but a small number of users reported it running slightly short. If it doesn’t fit your setup or you encounter any compatibility issues, the return and refund process is straightforward—our support team responds within 24 hours. Just keep the packaging and clips for a hassle-free return.
