Question 1

How long does the battery actually last on a full charge?

Accepted Answer

Most users get about 10 to 14 days of regular use (once or twice daily), rather than the 30 days advertised. The battery drains faster when using the high-pressure mode or pulse settings. The quick charge feature works well—just 15 minutes gives you enough power for several days—but we recommend charging overnight for maximum life.

Question 2

Is this oral irrigator safe for sensitive teeth or gums?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the 4 pressure modes include a gentle “Soft” setting that’s suitable for beginners and sensitive mouths. However, some users on TikTok have noted the fine-tuning between modes could be better—the Soft mode is very mild, while the next step up can feel too strong. We suggest starting on Soft and adjusting slowly. If you have persistent pain or bleeding, consult your dentist first.

Question 3

Can I use mouthwash or essential oils in the water tank?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can add a small amount of mouthwash (about a capful) or a few drops of essential oil to the water. Avoid using thick, sugary mouthwashes or oils that might clog the nozzle. The tank is 300 ml, so mix well before using, and rinse the tank thoroughly afterward to prevent residue buildup.

Question 4

The nozzle keeps popping off—is this a common issue?

Accepted Answer

Some users have reported that the nozzle can loosen over time or pop off during use. This usually happens if the nozzle isn’t pushed all the way in until it clicks. For a more secure fit, ensure the silicone seal is clean and dry before inserting. If the problem continues, you may want to try the spare nozzle included in the box. Many buyers find that a gentle twist while inserting helps it lock in place.

Question 5

How does this compare to a Waterpik? Should I buy this or spend more?

Accepted Answer

The COSLUS is a solid budget option—it costs about half the price of a basic Waterpik and offers a larger tank (300 ml vs. 200 ml). Performance-wise, it cleans well for most daily needs. The trade-offs are in build quality: Waterpik models tend to be more durable, have stronger waterproofing, and offer more consistent pressure control. If you’re looking for a travel-friendly backup or a starter irrigator, this is great. For heavy daily use over several years, you might want to invest in a Waterpik or H2ofloss model instead.
