Question 1

Will these spatulas scratch my non-stick pans?

Accepted Answer

No—the flexible silicone heads are designed to be gentle on non-stick coatings. Many TikTok users and verified buyers confirm they’re safe for Teflon, ceramic, and enameled cookware. That said, avoid using the edges to scrape burnt-on food, as aggressive scraping can still cause wear over time.

Question 2

Are they truly heat resistant, and can I use them for searing or deep frying?

Accepted Answer

They’re rated for up to 500°F (260°C), which works for sautéing, simmering, and baking. However, some reviewers note that the handle can get warm during extended high-heat use. For searing or deep frying, we recommend using a wooden or metal turner instead, as the silicone may soften when in direct contact with hot oil for long periods.

Question 3

Do these stain or discolor over time with certain foods?

Accepted Answer

The black color holds up well with most cooking, but some users report a faded appearance after repeated exposure to tomato sauce, turmeric, or greasy foods. The effect is cosmetic only—rinsing with warm soapy water after each use helps minimize it. Dishwasher use is fine but may accelerate slight clouding on the black finish.

Question 4

What’s the size of each spatula, and how do they differ?

Accepted Answer

Both spatulas are about 12.5 inches long. The solid spatula (1.25-inch wide head) is ideal for stirring sauces, flipping eggs, and scraping bowls. The slotted turner (2.5-inch wide head) works well for lifting fish, pancakes, or draining fried foods. They’re not recommended for flipping heavy items like large steaks or thick veggie burgers, as the silicone flexes too much.

Question 5

Are these a good value, and what do people who regret buying them suggest instead?

Accepted Answer

Most buyers consider them excellent value for the price—over 90% of ratings are 4 or 5 stars. The few who were disappointed typically needed stiffer tools for heavy flipping tasks. In that case, they often switch to the OXO Good Grips Silicone Turner or a wooden spatula. For everyday cooking with non-stick pans and light ingredients, this set delivers what it promises.
