Question 1

My dog is a very picky eater. Will they notice this in their food or water?

Accepted Answer

While many dogs don't notice it, palatability can vary. Based on social media feedback, most dogs accept it when mixed with wet food or a strong-smelling broth. However, a small number of very sensitive eaters may refuse. We recommend starting with a small dose mixed into a favorite treat to test acceptance.

Question 2

How do I figure out the correct dosage for my dog's size? The dropper is confusing.

Accepted Answer

Great question! The standard guideline is 1 ml (which is roughly one full dropper) per 25 lbs of body weight, once daily. For precise dosing, use the markings on the dropper. Many TikTok pet owners suggest drawing the dose into the dropper and then gently squirting it onto a small portion of your dog's meal or a treat, rather than directly into the water bowl, to avoid waste.

Question 3

How long should I use this before expecting to see results for my dog's itchy skin or stiff joints?

Accepted Answer

Natural supplements work cumulatively. For skin and coat benefits, some owners report noticing a shinier coat within 3-4 weeks. For joint mobility and managing itchiness related to skin health, it may take 6-8 weeks of consistent use to observe noticeable improvements. Consistency is key, as with any dietary supplement.

Question 4

This seems expensive for the bottle size. Is it cost-effective for a large dog?

Accepted Answer

This is a common concern. For dogs over 50 lbs, the liquid form can be less cost-effective per dose compared to powdered supplements. This product is often favored by owners of small to medium dogs, or those who value the convenience of a liquid over powders or pills. For large breeds, you may want to calculate the daily cost based on the dosage guide to see if it fits your long-term budget.

Question 5

What is the source of the collagen, and is this suitable for dogs with specific allergies?

Accepted Answer

The collagen in this supplement is sourced from bovine (beef). It does not contain chicken, soy, or grains, which are common allergens. However, if your dog has a known beef allergy, this product would not be suitable. As always, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian before starting any new supplement, especially for dogs with severe allergies or health conditions.
