Question 1

Will this capo fit both my acoustic and electric guitar neck properly?

Accepted Answer

It works well on standard 6-string guitars with typical C-shaped necks and nut widths up to 43mm. However, if your acoustic has a thick V-profile neck or your electric uses jumbo frets, you may experience poor pressure distribution. Many TikTok users with vintage guitars or 7-strings have reported it doesn’t grip securely on those.

Question 2

I’ve seen reviews mention string tuning issues after clamping—is that common?

Accepted Answer

Some users notice slight string bending when the spring snaps closed, especially on lighter gauge strings (0.009 or below). To minimize this, clamp just behind the fret rather than directly on top of it. The tension isn’t adjustable, so if you play extremely light or heavy strings, you might prefer a screw-style capo like the Shubb C1 for more control.

Question 3

How durable is the satin silver finish? Will it hold up to regular gigging?

Accepted Answer

The finish is attractive out of the box, but several Reddit users noted scratching and chipping after a few months of regular use. It’s build quality is solid for casual practice and recording, but touring musicians should expect cosmetic wear. Proper storage in a padded case between uses helps preserve the finish.

Question 4

What if the capo doesn’t fit my guitar—can I return it?

Accepted Answer

Yes, returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase as long as the item is unmarked and in its original packaging. Keep in mind that some buyers received slightly damaged products due to loose packaging in transit—we recommend inspecting yours immediately upon arrival and contacting support if the box looks compromised.

Question 5

Is this better than the D’Addario NS Capo for acoustic playing?

Accepted Answer

Both are excellent budget options, but they serve slightly different needs. The KLIQ is ideal if you want a lightweight, quick-clamp capo for simple key changes and don’t need millimeter-precision tuning. The D’Addario offers more consistent string pressure and fits thicker necks better, making it a stronger choice for acoustic players who frequently change keys mid-song.
