Question 1

How should I choose my size, and is there room for post-surgery swelling?

Accepted Answer

We recommend checking our detailed size chart before purchasing. Many users suggest sizing up if you are between sizes or expect significant swelling, especially in the chest and underarm area. The fabric is stretchy, but it’s not compressive, so going up one size ensures a comfortable, non-restrictive fit for that first week of recovery when you are most sensitive.

Question 2

Will the drain pockets fit standard surgical drains, and can I access them easily?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the internal pockets are designed to hold most standard 100ml drain bulbs securely. However, some users on TikTok have noted that larger 200ml or oval-shaped bulbs may be a tight fit. The pocket openings are accessible from the inside without removing the top, allowing you to empty and secure your drains quickly. For the best fit, you can look for the "drain pocket" reviews that often include photos.

Question 3

Is the material soft enough for very tender, healing skin, and how does it hold up in the wash?

Accepted Answer

The fabric is a high-percentage modal and spandex blend, which is widely praised for its soft, buttery feel that is gentle on incisions and sensitive skin. To keep it that way, we strongly advise washing it in cold water on a gentle cycle and hanging it to dry. Several customer notes mention that tumbling it in a dryer can cause pilling and reduce the lifespan of the garment.

Question 4

I had a double mastectomy and need support. Will this top provide that?

Accepted Answer

This is a soft, everyday recovery tank, not a supportive compression bra. It provides gentle coverage and comfort but does not have built-in underwire, cups, or heavy compression. If you need significant bust support or are recovering from a surgery where the doctor requires compression, you may want to look at a dedicated medical recovery bra. This tank is best for lounging, sleeping, or layering under loose shirts.

Question 5

What if it doesn't fit or I decide I don't need it anymore?

Accepted Answer

We understand that recovery is unpredictable. We offer a 30-day return policy for unworn items in their original packaging. If the sizing is off, many users find the exchange process straightforward. Please check the specific return policy section on our site for details on shipping costs for returns, as policies can vary depending on your location.
