Question 1

Will this balm clog my pores or feel greasy on my skin?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! This is one of the most praised features. Unlike many occlusive products, organic grass-fed tallow is similar to the natural oils in our skin, allowing it to absorb deeply and quickly. Most reviewers are thrilled that it provides intense moisture without leaving a greasy or shiny residue, making it suitable for face and body.

Question 2

Is it truly unscented? I'm very sensitive to smells.

Accepted Answer

It is free from added fragrances or essential oils. However, as a pure, natural product containing beef tallow, some users with a keen sense of smell detect a very mild, natural, earthy aroma from the ingredients when first applied. This dissipates rapidly. If you are exceptionally odor-averse, you might notice it, but the vast majority describe it as effectively unscented.

Question 3

The balm seems firm in the tin. How do I apply it correctly?

Accepted Answer

The balm has a solid, wax-like consistency at room temperature. The best method is to scoop a small amount with a clean finger or spatula and warm it between your fingertips for 5-10 seconds. This melts it into a silky oil that glides onto the skin easily. Many TikTok users have shared this "warming tip" for perfect application!

Question 4

Is this safe to use on my face and for sensitive conditions like eczema?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the simple, all-natural ingredient list makes it excellent for sensitive skin, including the face. Many customers with eczema, psoriasis, or extremely dry patches report fantastic results. However, it's a superb moisturizer and skin protector, not a medicated treatment. For severe conditions, we always recommend consulting with a dermatologist. A patch test is advised for anyone with specific known allergies.

Question 5

How does tallow balm compare to regular lotion, and how long will a 2oz tin last?

Accepted Answer

Tallow balm is a nutrient-dense, multi-purpose skin food that acts as both a moisturizer and a protective barrier. Regular lotions are often water-based and can evaporate. A little of our balm goes a very long way. With daily use on targeted areas (like face, hands, and elbows), a 2oz tin typically lasts 2-3 months, making it a cost-effective choice for its potency. Its versatility often replaces multiple single-use products.
