Question 1

How do the actual sizes compare to what’s pictured? I’ve seen complaints that the 2 Tbsp and 1/2 cup molds are much smaller than expected.

Accepted Answer

That’s a common first impression! The 2 Tbsp mold is about the size of a large ice cube tray compartment, and the 1/2 cup is roughly the size of a small ramekin. We recommend checking the exact dimensions listed in the product specifications before ordering, especially if you’re used to traditional muffin tins. Many TikTok users who meal prep soups or sauces find the small sizes perfect for single servings, but if you need bigger portions, the 1-cup and 2-cup molds are your best bet.

Question 2

Are the lids leak-proof for carrying soup to work? I’ve read mixed reviews about them staying secure after a few months.

Accepted Answer

The lids create a good seal for minimal leakage when the molds are filled correctly (not overfilled) and frozen flat. However, after repeated use and dishwasher cycles, some users report the lids become slightly looser. For transporting liquids, we recommend placing the sealed mold inside a reusable bag or container just in case. For longer-term durability, hand washing the lids and avoiding high heat in the dishwasher can help maintain their fit.

Question 3

Do these silicone molds stain easily, especially from tomato or curry sauces?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that’s one of the most common “real talk” points in user reviews. The vibrant aqua color can show orange or pink tinting after contact with tomato-based or heavily spiced foods. This staining is cosmetic and doesn’t affect safety or performance—the platinum-cured silicone is non-porous and food-grade. If you’re bothered by discoloration, you can try scrubbing with baking soda paste, or consider storing darker sauces in the included bigger molds to minimize visible staining.

Question 4

Can I bake directly in the oven with these molds? I saw a YouTube video where someone made mini meatloaves.

Accepted Answer

Absolutely—the molds are oven-safe up to 425°F, so they’re great for baked eggs, mini casseroles, or meatloaves. Just place them on a baking sheet for stability, as the silicone can be floppy when full and warm. A word of caution: avoid broiling or direct contact with heating elements, as that can damage the silicone over time. Many bakers love this feature for portion-controlled meals that go straight from oven to freezer.

Question 5

This set is a gift—can I put it in the dishwasher, and what happens if something breaks?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all pieces are dishwasher-safe (top rack recommended to avoid warping). The set comes with a standard manufacturer’s warranty against defects in material or workmanship. If you receive a damaged item or experience splitting within the first year, reach out to customer support with your order details—most buyers report a hassle-free replacement. For the best longevity, avoid using sharp utensils on the silicone and don’t overstuff the freezer, as cramming can deform the molds.
