Question 1

As a complete beginner, is this set a good choice for me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. This set is consistently hailed on social media and in reviews as one of the best starter kits available. The 22g weight is ideal for learning, and the huge bundle of accessories lets you experiment with different setups without buying extra parts. Many Reddit users recommend it as the perfect "first dartboard companion."

Question 2

What's the real difference between these brass darts and "pro" tungsten darts?

Accepted Answer

This is a key point. These are high-quality *brass* darts, which are thicker and perfect for developing your throw. "Pro" players use thinner, denser *tungsten* darts for tighter grouping. The "Pro" in the name refers to the professional-grade accessories and design endorsement by Luke Littler, not the barrel material. Think of this as your excellent training set before potentially upgrading to tungsten.

Question 3

I've seen comments about flights and shafts breaking. How durable are the accessories?

Accepted Answer

The brass barrels are very durable. However, some users on platforms like TikTok have noted that while you get a large quantity of flights and shafts, a few in the bundle can be less robust, especially with frequent bounce-outs. The good news is the set includes *so many* spares, and replacing individual flights or shafts with premium ones later is inexpensive and easy.

Question 4

What should I expect when the package arrives? Will it come in a nice case?

Accepted Answer

To manage expectations, the darts and accessories typically come securely packaged in a practical bag or box for protection during shipping. It is functional rather than a presentation-grade hard case. This keeps the overall cost down. The focus is on the quality and quantity of the playing equipment inside, which reviewers agree delivers tremendous value.

Question 5

Can I upgrade parts of this set later, or am I stuck with what's included?

Accepted Answer

You can easily upgrade! A major benefit of this set is that it uses totally standard parts. As you improve, you can swap in any 2BA threaded shafts, standard flight shapes, and even a new tool. Many players start with this kit and later choose to keep the reliable brass barrels while adding their favorite premium stems and flights, making it a flexible long-term investment.
