Question 1

How well does the 18Kpa suction handle tough stains like dried pet messes or set-in dirt?

Accepted Answer

The suction is solid for fresh spills and light everyday dirt, but many TikTok users and some long-term reviewers note that it struggles with fully dried or set-in stains. We recommend pre-treating stubborn spots with a stain remover first, then using the machine in slow passes for best results. It’s ideal as a spot cleaner, not a replacement for a heavy-duty deep cleaner.

Question 2

Is this machine easy to maintain? Does the self-cleaning feature actually work?

Accepted Answer

The self-cleaning function helps flush the hose and brush head, but some owners report that hair and debris still get trapped on the brush roll, requiring manual removal after use. We suggest rinsing the dirty water tank and brush cover after each session. Many Reddit users found that occasionally removing the brush for a deeper clean keeps performance consistent.

Question 3

Can I use any carpet cleaning solution, or does it need Uwant’s brand?

Accepted Answer

Uwant recommends using their own cleaning solution to avoid potential clogging or damage, but several YouTube reviewers have successfully used Bissell or Hoover formulas without issues. Just make sure to avoid thick solutions or excessive suds, as they can foam up and cause the machine to leak. Always test a small area of fabric first.

Question 4

What’s the real-world run time, and how quickly will I need to empty the tank?

Accepted Answer

You’ll get about 15–20 minutes of continuous use before needing to refill the clean water tank, and the dirty tank fills up even faster if you’re tackling larger areas. For one sofa or two car seats, you’ll likely need 2–3 refill cycles. It’s best suited for spot cleaning rather than whole-room projects—many buyers love it for quick car interior touch-ups.

Question 5

Is there a return policy if I don’t like it, and how’s the customer support?

Accepted Answer

Uwant offers a 30-day return window for unused items in original packaging, and a 1-year warranty for defects. However, customer support response times vary—some users on Reddit report slow replies, while others had smooth replacements. We recommend checking the seller’s return policy at checkout and keeping your order confirmation handy in case you need support.
