Question 1

The title says “150 Gallon”—does that mean I’m getting one giant bag?

Accepted Answer

No, that’s actually the total surface area of all 160 bags combined. You’re getting 50 gallon-size bags (11” x 16”), 50 quart bags (8” x 12”), 50 pint bags (6” x 10”), plus the 5 liquid block bags and 5 bone guard pieces. Many customers tell us they love the variety; just note each bag is a standard food-saver size, not fit for a trash can.

Question 2

Will these work with my FoodSaver or Anova sealer?

Accepted Answer

Yes, they’re designed to be compatible with most major vacuum sealers, including FoodSaver, Anova, and generic brands. The material is textured on one side and smooth on the other, which matches the default sealing pattern of these machines. One TikTok tip: Always pre-seal the open end if you’re using the textured liquid block bags, as they can sometimes need a second pass.

Question 3

Can I reuse these bags after washing?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely—as long as you didn’t seal raw meat or dairy. Many meal preppers on Reddit say they rinse and air-dry them for dry goods or sous vide repeats. Just cut off the old seal strip before reusing, or trim the edge to create a fresh surface. The triple-layer plastic holds up well to several cycles.

Question 4

I only need large bags. Is there a cheaper per-bag option?

Accepted Answer

If you mostly use the gallon size, buying this variety pack isn’t the most cost-effective route. Several YouTube reviewers recommend looking at Wevac’s 2-pack of 11” x 50’ rolls instead—you get about 900 running inches for a lower cost per bag. This set is ideal if you actually use all three sizes (e.g., for sous vide proteins, lunch snacks, and marinades).

Question 5

The bone guard pieces seem few—can I still seal sharp items without them?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can. Fold a small piece of paper towel or a second bag over the sharp edge before sealing. The 5 included bone guards are meant as a starter supply. Frequent hunters or butchers often buy a separate bulk pack of guards, but casual users tell us they rarely need more than what’s provided. For bones, just double-bag and you’ll be fine.
