Question 1

Will this charger work with my DJI Mini 3 Pro and its remote controller at the same time?

Accepted Answer

It’s designed to charge one device at a time through a single USB-C port. Many TikTok users have noted that while it’s fast for a single battery or RC, you’ll need to charge your drone battery and remote separately. For simultaneous charging, consider a multi-port GaN alternative.

Question 2

Does it come with a USB-C cable, or do I need to buy one separately?

Accepted Answer

No cable is included in the box—just the charging block. This is a common frustration echoed on Reddit, as it adds an extra expense. You’ll need a USB-C to USB-C cable (supporting 65W or higher) to use it. Make sure to factor that into your purchase.

Question 3

Is this charger safe for my DJI Osmo Action 4 or smartphone?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it’s fully compatible with Osmo Action 4/3 and most USB-C devices, including phones and laptops. The charger intelligently adjusts power output. However, for non-DJI devices, some users report it doesn’t charge as fast as dedicated chargers—something to keep in mind if you plan to use it as your main travel brick.

Question 4

How does it compare to a third-party 65W GaN charger from Anker or UGREEN?

Accepted Answer

The DJI version is more compact and guaranteed to deliver the correct voltage for DJI batteries, which can help avoid warranty concerns. However, third-party chargers often cost half as much and include two ports. If you’re only charging DJI gear and value brand peace of mind, this is a solid choice. If you need multi-device charging, an Anker 65W may be more practical.

Question 5

What’s the return policy if it doesn’t work with my drone model?

Accepted Answer

DJI’s standard return policy applies (typically 30 days from purchase, with the item in original condition). Many buyers recommend double-checking your drone model against the listed compatibility (Mini 4 Pro, Air 3/3S, Mavic 4 Pro, etc.) before ordering, as some older models like the Mavic Air 2 are not officially supported. If in doubt, contact DJI support with your model number.
