Question 1

Is this detergent truly safe for people with eczema or very sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

Many users with mild to moderate sensitive skin find it gentle and effective. However, the “Fresh Scent” is still a light fragrance that can bother those with extreme sensitivities or fragrance allergies. For truly fragrance-free needs, consider ARM & HAMMER’s unscented version or a free-and-clear brand like All Free Clear.

Question 2

How well does it handle tough stains like grass, grease, or baby messes?

Accepted Answer

It’s designed more for everyday cleanliness than heavy-duty stain removal. Reddit parents often note they need to pre-treat mud or food stains, especially on children’s clothes. For routine laundry, it works fine—but for grimy workwear or grass-stained knees, you might want a booster or a stronger formula.

Question 3

Can I use this in my high-efficiency (HE) washing machine?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it’s HE-compatible and produces low suds. Many TikTok users confirm it works well in both front-loaders and top-loaders. Just follow the cap’s measuring lines—using too much can leave residue, especially in cold water.

Question 4

Why do some people say the 105-load claim is misleading?

Accepted Answer

The 105-load count is based on the smallest line on the cap (for light loads). If you fill to the recommended line for medium or heavy loads, you’ll get fewer loads per bottle. This is common in liquid detergents, but a handful of consumers found it frustrating. For best value, measure carefully.

Question 5

Does this detergent leave a strong smell on clothes after drying?

Accepted Answer

Most users describe the scent as clean and light—not overpowering. However, a few reviewers with sensitive noses say the fragrance lingers more than expected, especially on synthetic fabrics. If you prefer no smell at all, look for ARM & HAMMER’s “Free & Clear” version, which is fragrance-free.
