Question 1

Will these pads work on my laminate flooring or low-pile carpet?

Accepted Answer

They are most effective and highly recommended for smooth, hard surfaces like hardwood, tile, and vinyl. Many users on platforms like TikTok have shown great success on these floors. For low-pile carpet or textured laminate, the grip can be less reliable. On carpet, the pads may prevent marking but aren't designed as deep "carpet grippers."

Question 2

How strong is the adhesive, and will I need to buy separate tape?

Accepted Answer

The included adhesive strips provide a good hold for most applications on clean, dry surfaces. However, a common piece of feedback from Reddit users is that for very heavy furniture (like large sofas) or if the floor isn't perfectly clean, the adhesive can fail. Many recommend having a roll of strong double-sided tape (like Gorilla Tape) on hand for a more permanent solution, just in case.

Question 3

Are the 2-inch pads large enough for a standard couch or bed frame?

Accepted Answer

The 2" diameter is perfect for typical chair legs, table legs, and smaller furniture feet. For wider couch or bed frame legs, the coverage might be insufficient, and they can look undersized. If your furniture legs are notably wider than 2 inches, you might want to search for larger, rectangular pads to ensure full coverage and stability.

Question 4

Will these leave marks or residue on my light-colored hardwood floors?

Accepted Answer

The pads are made from non-marking rubber and are designed specifically to protect floors. When removed properly, they should not leave a stain. However, as with any adhesive product, if left in extreme heat or for a very long time, there's a small chance of residue. To be safe, test one in an inconspicuous area first. Most reviewers confirm they come off cleanly.

Question 5

What's the best way to ensure these pads work well and last?

Accepted Answer

For the best results, follow these tips gathered from user reviews: 1) Clean the floor thoroughly where the pad will stick (dirt and dust are the #1 cause of failure). 2) Press firmly for 30 seconds after application. 3) For extremely heavy items, consider reinforcing with stronger tape. 4) Avoid getting them wet during cleaning, as moisture can compromise the adhesive. With proper installation, most users find them durable and effective for years.
