Question 1

Is the "Shimmer" in the Light Rose Shimmer shade actually glittery?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. The "shimmer" refers to a soft, luminous radiance, not chunky glitter. As many reviewers on TikTok have clarified, it gives a brightened, light-reflective finish that looks natural and helps deflect attention from shadows, making it ideal for a fresh, awake look.

Question 2

Will this product crease in my fine lines and wrinkles?

Accepted Answer

Minimizing creasing is one of its most praised benefits, especially for mature skin. The formula is designed to be creamy yet lightweight. The key is to apply a tiny amount—about half the size of a grain of rice per eye—and blend well. Users often note it performs significantly better than many liquid concealers in this regard.

Question 3

How do I apply this pot concealer for the best results?

Accepted Answer

For the most natural finish, use your ring finger to gently warm and tap a small amount onto the inner corner and darkest part of your under-eye area. You can also use a damp beauty sponge or a dense synthetic brush. Less is more; you can build it lightly if needed. Setting with a light powder can enhance longevity, especially for oilier skin types.

Question 4

I have oily skin. Will this under eye brightener last on me?

Accepted Answer

It can, but may require a simple extra step. While the formula is long-lasting for most, users with particularly oily eyelids have shared that using a light, eye-area primer first or setting it with a translucent powder helps prevent creasing and ensures it stays vibrant all day.

Question 5

How does this compare to a liquid concealer like IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye?

Accepted Answer

The Kaely Brightener is a color-correcting *pot* product focused on neutralizing darkness and adding radiance with a lighter texture. Liquid concealers like IT Cosmetics often provide heavier, fuller coverage. They serve different purposes: many users love using Kaely first to color-correct and brighten, then applying a tiny bit of liquid concealer only where extra coverage is needed. It's often favored for its ability to avoid a cakey look on mature skin.
