Question 1

I have oily or acne-prone skin. Is this mask likely to cause breakouts?

Accepted Answer

While many with combination skin love it, reviews from those with very oily or acne-prone skin are mixed. Some find it hydrating without issues, but a notable number report it caused congestion or breakouts. The formula is rich, so if your skin is easily clogged, we recommend a thorough patch test before full application. Many TikTok users with similar concerns suggest using it just 2-3 times a week instead of nightly.

Question 2

How strong is the fragrance, and is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

The mask has a distinct, floral-cosmetic fragrance that some users find pleasant and others find too strong. Feedback on Reddit indicates it's a common point of sensitivity; if you are reactive to fragrances or essential oils, you may want to avoid it. It is not a fragrance-free product.

Question 3

Does it feel sticky or leave a residue on the skin and pillowcase?

Accepted Answer

The "jelly gel" texture is designed to be a treatment layer. It absorbs well for most users, leaving a dewy finish, but some do report a slight tacky feeling. To minimize transfer, apply a thin layer and allow it to fully set (about 10-15 minutes) before going to bed. Many YouTube reviewers note this technique helps.

Question 4

How long does one 28g jar typically last with regular use?

Accepted Answer

With nightly use, a single jar lasts most users between 3 to 4 weeks. A little goes a long way—you only need a pearl-sized amount to cover the entire face. The value is often seen in the visible results rather than the sheer volume. The 4-pack offers better value for those who plan to incorporate it into their long-term routine.

Question 5

Can I use this as my only moisturizer, or should I layer it?

Accepted Answer

You can use it both ways! For a lightweight treatment, apply it over your serum and instead of your regular moisturizer. For intense overnight therapy, especially if you have dry skin, apply it as the final sealing layer *after* your moisturizer. Most fans on social media use it as the last step in their PM routine to "lock in" all their previous skincare.
