Question 1

Will these pads fit my specific wheelchair or office chair?

Accepted Answer

They are designed to fit most standard rectangular armrests. The pads measure approximately 11.8" x 6.7" and use adjustable hook-and-loop straps that accommodate armrests up to about 4.7" wide. Many users with popular transport, electric, and manual wheelchairs (like Pride, Drive Medical, or Invacare models) report a great fit. For uniquely curved or extra-wide arms, we recommend measuring your armrest and comparing it to our product dimensions.

Question 2

I've read about a strong smell. Is that normal and will it go away?

Accepted Answer

Yes, some customers notice a temporary "new product" odor from the memory foam when first unpacked. This is common and not harmful. The smell dissipates significantly after 24-48 hours of airing out in a well-ventilated space. A tip from reviewers: leaving them unwrapped on a porch or in a garage for a day or two usually does the trick.

Question 3

How do I clean them, and how durable are they for daily use?

Accepted Answer

The soft, sheepskin-like cover is removable and hand-wash only in cold water with mild detergent. Air dry thoroughly. The memory foam core should not be submerged. With proper care, users report the pads maintain their comfort and appearance for many months of regular use. For longevity, we recommend avoiding direct sunlight for prolonged periods to prevent fading.

Question 4

Do they slide around or make your arms hot?

Accepted Answer

The adjustable straps provide a secure fit for most smooth surfaces. However, a few users with very slick, rounded armrests have noted some slippage. A simple fix mentioned in social media reviews is to place a small square of grippy drawer liner between the pad and the armrest. As for breathability, the plush cover is warmer than a bare plastic armrest but is not typically cited as causing excessive sweating.

Question 5

What if they aren't the right solution for me or my chair?

Accepted Answer

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. We offer a straightforward return policy. If the pads aren't a perfect fit or don't meet your comfort needs, you can contact our customer support within the return window for a hassle-free refund or exchange. This allows you to try them risk-free, which is why many cautious buyers feel confident giving them a shot.
