Question 1

How big is the bear? The pictures make it hard to judge the size.

Accepted Answer

The Hopearl Dr. Bear is 10 inches (about 25 cm) tall, which is similar in height to a standard soda can. It's designed as a perfect handheld companion or desk buddy. Many TikTok reviewers suggest checking the product dimensions, as some were surprised it wasn't a larger bed-sized plush.

Question 2

Is this toy safe and suitable for a 2-year-old?

Accepted Answer

We recommend this toy for children ages 3 and up. The plush bear itself is very soft and safe, but the doctor accessories (stethoscope, mask ties, small plastic clips) are delicate and could pose a choking hazard for younger toddlers who still mouth objects. Parents of younger children often supervise closely or remove the accessories during play.

Question 3

How durable are the doctor accessories, like the stethoscope and coat?

Accepted Answer

The bear is praised for its high-quality plush construction. The fabric coat and belt are quite durable, but the smaller accessory pieces, like the plastic parts of the stethoscope, are more delicate. For extended, rough play by younger kids, these parts may not hold up. Many Reddit users mention it's best for imaginative, gentle role-play rather than rugged toddler handling.

Question 4

Is this a good gift for a child interested in doctors or martial arts?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! This is the most common praise we see. It's a hit as a themed gift for aspiring doctors, nurses, or vets. Furthermore, because it includes a colored belt, it has become an unexpectedly popular and meaningful gift for children in martial arts (like karate or taekwondo) to celebrate belt advancements.

Question 5

Can the doctor's coat be washed if it gets dirty?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the white coat is removable and can be hand-washed gently in cold water. We recommend air-drying it to prevent any shrinkage or damage to the Velcro closures. The plush bear itself can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth.
