Question 1

Is this powder compatible with regular nail polish or only gel systems?

Accepted Answer

It works best with gel systems, especially for that true mirror finish. Use a colored base and seal with a chrome/top coat as directed. If you’re using regular polish, results can vary and may require extra steps.

Question 2

How many nails can I do with one jar, and is it worth the price?

Accepted Answer

A little goes a long way—even a small amount on each nail yields multiple nails. The 10–15g jar is typically enough for many manicures and crafts, depending on technique, so many users feel it’s worth the price for the dramatic effect.

Question 3

Do I need a special top coat to protect the chrome finish?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use a chrome/mirror top coat or a no-wipe top coat to seal the powder. Proper sealing helps maintain shine and longevity.

Question 4

How long does the finish last, and how should I remove it?

Accepted Answer

With proper curing and sealing on gel nails, you can typically get 1–3 weeks of wear. For removal, use standard gel removal methods (foil/acetone or soaking) and gentle filing to remove any remaining powder.

Question 5

Are there lighting effects I should know about, and what if it doesn’t meet expectations?

Accepted Answer

Lighting can dramatically change the look—the chrome can appear more vibrant in bright light and more muted in dim light. If you’re unhappy, check the seller’s return policy and consider trying with a different base shade or top coat; many buyers share that a proper seal makes a big difference.
