Question 1

Does this kit work on star-shaped or long cracks like the pictures show?

Accepted Answer

Based on extensive user feedback, this kit has a very low success rate on complex cracks (like stars) or cracks longer than one inch. The liquid resin often cannot fully penetrate and bond these deeper damages. Many TikTok and Reddit users recommend professional repair for anything beyond a simple, small bullseye chip.

Question 2

How does this DIY repair compare to a professional service?

Accepted Answer

It's fundamentally different. A professional service uses a vacuum/pressure system to fully inject resin into the damage. This kit relies on capillary action and gravity, which, as many YouTube reviewers demonstrate, often results in incomplete filling. Think of this as a potential temporary stop-gap for very minor damage, not a permanent, strength-restoring repair.

Question 3

Is the application process truly beginner-friendly?

Accepted Answer

While the instructions seem simple, user reports highlight common pitfalls: the application bridge can be unstable, controlling the resin drops is tricky, and cleaning excess resin without smearing is difficult. Several users on forums mention creating a mess that was harder to remove than the original chip.

Question 4

What is your refund policy if the repair doesn't work?

Accepted Answer

We stand by our products, but due to the nature of DIY repairs (which depend on crack type, environmental conditions, and application technique), we cannot guarantee results on every windshield. We recommend reviewing our return policy on the product page. For transparency, some social media feedback mentions challenges with refunds for used kits, so we encourage you to contact our support team *before* purchasing with specific details about your crack to see if this kit is a suitable fit.

Question 5

Who is this kit most suitable for?

Accepted Answer

This kit may be a consideration only if you have a very fresh, small (less than 1/4 inch) bullseye or chip that you want to attempt to stabilize to prevent immediate spreading. It is not recommended for large, long, or complex cracks, or for anyone seeking an invisible, permanent, or structurally sound repair. For those, a professional mobile repair service is universally recommended by experienced DIYers.
