Question 1

Will these Air Tracker Tags work with Android phones or only iPhones?

Accepted Answer

These trackers are designed exclusively for Apple's Find My network and work with iPhones, iPads, and iPods running iOS 15 or later. They are not compatible with Android devices. Many TikTok users have highlighted this as a common gotcha, so double-check your phone before ordering.

Question 2

How loud is the tracker's sound when I try to locate my keys or bag?

Accepted Answer

The built-in speaker is audible in a quiet room or under a couch cushion, but it's not as loud as some competitors. Reddit users often note that it can be hard to hear in noisy environments or if the item is buried deep inside a backpack. For silent locate, you can use the Find My app to see its last location on a map.

Question 3

Is there any ongoing subscription fee, and how long does the battery last?

Accepted Answer

There are no monthly or yearly subscription costs—you only pay for the tags once. Each tag uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery that typically lasts 6–12 months depending on usage. The battery is user-replaceable, which many buyers appreciate as it extends the product's life.

Question 4

Can I share access to these trackers with family members or friends?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can share each tracker with up to five other people who have Apple IDs, using the Find My app's sharing feature. This is great for families tracking luggage or common household items. Just note that the host (original owner) will need to send an invitation through the app, and all parties must have iCloud enabled.

Question 5

What should I do if I lose a tracker itself? Can it be replaced?

Accepted Answer

If you lose a tag, you can put it into Lost Mode through the Find My app—this will notify you when it's detected by any nearby Apple device. Lost tags are not covered under warranty, but you can purchase a single replacement if needed. Many users recommend attaching them to a sturdy key ring or loop to prevent accidental drops.
