Question 1

Is this tiffin box truly leak-proof for liquid-heavy Indian curries like sambar or dal?

Accepted Answer

The container features silicone gasket seals on each tier for excellent leak resistance. In our testing and according to most user reviews, it handles typical curries and gravies very well when properly closed. However, a small number of users on platforms like Reddit have noted that if the gasket becomes dislodged (sometimes after aggressive dishwasher cycles) or the box is tipped upside-down for extended periods with very runny liquids, minor seepage can occur. For maximum security with extremely watery dishes, we recommend placing the box upright in a lunch bag.

Question 2

How bulky and heavy is the 4-tier set for a daily commute?

Accepted Answer

This is a sturdy, full-capacity lunch box made from 304-grade stainless steel. When fully loaded with food, it has a substantial feel. Many TikTok users love its durability but honestly mention the weight. If you carry a lot of food or don't mind the heft, it's perfect. If you prefer a very light lunch bag or have a long walk commute, you might find it bulky. For a lighter daily option, you could consider a 2 or 3-tier bento box instead.

Question 3

Can I wash it in the dishwasher, and will it stay looking new?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all components are top-rack dishwasher safe. The stainless steel interior cleans very easily. However, some social media feedback highlights that strong spices (e.g., turmeric) can sometimes leave slight stains, and oily residues may occasionally collect in the lid's crevices. A quick hand-wash with a bottle brush ensures a spotless finish. The silicone gaskets are dishwasher safe but check they are seated correctly after washing to maintain the leak-proof seal.

Question 4

Who is this lunch box best suited for?

Accepted Answer

It's ideal for adults who carry complete, homemade meals requiring separation—like rice, curry, veggies, and salad. It's a hit with office workers who meal prep, campers needing robust containers, and parents packing for teens. It's less suitable for those who want a single, large compartment, need their food to stay hot for 6+ hours (it retains warmth for a few hours), or prioritize ultra-lightweight packaging above all else.

Question 5

What if a part, like a lid or gasket, breaks? Do you sell replacements?

Accepted Answer

We understand the need for long-term usability. The product is built for durability, but should you need a replacement part like a silicone sealing gasket or a specific tier, please contact our customer support team directly via the seller/storefront you purchased from. They can assist with spare part availability and solutions to extend the life of your tiffin.
