Question 1

Are these brushes really soft enough for sensitive eyes, and will the bristles shed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, overwhelmingly so! A major highlight from thousands of reviews is how exceptionally soft and non-irritating the synthetic bristles are, making them a great choice for sensitive eyes or contact lens wearers. Regarding shedding: while most users report minimal to no shedding, a small number mention some initial loose hairs during the first wash or two. This is common with new synthetic brushes. Giving them a gentle pre-use wash is recommended to remove any residual dust.

Question 2

I've seen comments about the "rose gold" color chipping. Is this a common issue?

Accepted Answer

This is a fair point raised by some users. The rose gold finish on the metal ferrules is a coating. For the majority, it holds up well with careful handling and drying. However, with frequent use and washing, or if brushes are knocked around in a drawer, this coating can eventually wear or chip, revealing the base metal underneath. If the aesthetic longevity of the finish is your top priority, it's something to consider.

Question 3

As a complete beginner, is this 12-piece set all I need to start with?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. This set is consistently praised by beginners as the perfect starter kit. It covers all the essentials for eyeshadow (blending, packing, detailing), eyeliner, and eyebrows. The variety allows you to learn different techniques without needing additional brushes. Many TikTok and YouTube creators specifically recommend it as a first set because of its versatility and forgiving price point.

Question 4

How do they compare to more expensive brands, and what's the catch?

Accepted Answer

The consensus is that their performance in application and blending rivals brushes from brands like Morphe or Sigma, especially for everyday use. The "catch" is in the long-term build materials. While the wood handles and soft bristles are excellent for the price, they may not have the same decades-long durability as a premium brush with a seamless ferrule. You're paying for outstanding performance and value, not necessarily a "buy-it-for-life" item.

Question 5

The product says "without bag." How should I store and clean them?

Accepted Answer

That's correct; a storage case is not included. Many users store them upright in a cup or purchase a separate brush roll. For cleaning, hand wash gently with a mild brush cleaner or baby shampoo, reshape the bristles, and lay them flat to dry away from direct heat. Avoid soaking the handles or getting the ferrule (where the bristles meet the metal) excessively wet, as this can loosen the glue or affect the finish over time.
