Question 1

I’ve tried other magnesium supplements that upset my stomach. How is this one different?

Accepted Answer

This formula uses magnesium *glycinate*, a form clinically shown to be highly absorbable and gentle on the digestive system. It's chelated with glycine, an amino acid. Over 45,000 reviews specifically highlight the lack of stomach upset as a key benefit, making it a top choice for those with sensitive digestion.

Question 2

The price is higher than other options. Is it really worth it?

Accepted Answer

The premium reflects the commitment to high-purity, hypoallergenic ingredients and rigorous third-party testing. While cheaper glycinate supplements exist, many users on forums like Reddit report switching back to Pure Encapsulations, noting a more noticeable effect on sleep and relaxation. It’s often cited as a "you get what you pay for" product for those who prioritize quality and results.

Question 3

How should I take it, and how long until I notice a difference?

Accepted Answer

The recommended dose is 1-2 capsules daily, preferably with a meal. For sleep support, take it 30-60 minutes before bed. Many users report improved sleep within the first few nights, while effects on stress and muscle tension may take 1-2 weeks of consistent use. A common tip from TikTok reviewers is to start with one capsule to assess your tolerance.

Question 4

Are the capsules easy to swallow?

Accepted Answer

The capsules are a standard size for supplements. Most users have no issue, but a small number find them large. If you have difficulty swallowing pills, you can open the capsule and mix the pure powder into water or a smoothie—it has a mild, slightly chalky taste. This is a popular workaround mentioned in customer reviews.

Question 5

Can I take this with my other vitamins or medications?

Accepted Answer

Magnesium can interact with certain medications, including some antibiotics and blood pressure drugs. It's always best to consult with your healthcare provider or pharmacist before starting any new supplement, especially if you are on prescription medication or have underlying health conditions. They can advise on proper timing and dosage for your specific situation.
