Question 1

What is the capacity and size of these tubes?

Accepted Answer

The listing states each tube has a capacity of approximately 2ml, with a diameter of approximately 10mm and a height of approximately 40mm. The product description also lists a diameter of approximately 8.5mm, so the size details in the listing are not fully consistent.

Question 2

How many tubes come in the package?

Accepted Answer

The listing states the package includes 200 packs of 2ml centrifuge tubes.

Question 3

Do the tubes leak or seal well?

Accepted Answer

The listing says the tubes have a snap cap, are not easy to leak, and are safe to use, with good sealing to prevent liquid leakage. One customer review also mentions using them for glue and being able to seal them so odors do not linger.

Question 4

What are these tubes good for?

Accepted Answer

The listing says they are widely used in molecular biology, clinical chemistry, and bio-chemistry research, and are good for storing tiny specimens, sample separation, and sample storage. Customer reviews mention using them for model rocket pyro deployment charges, gluing 3D printed projects, and geocaching.

Question 5

Are the tubes reusable?

Accepted Answer

One customer review states they are only for one-time use because they are disintegrated. The listing does not state whether the tubes are reusable.
