Question 1

Does this work on set-in stains, or just fresh ones?

Accepted Answer

It's most effective as a first-response treatment on fresh stains. Many users on parenting forums report it's a "game-changer" for new messes like baby food, spit-up, and berries. For older, dried stains, results can be inconsistent. For best results, we recommend applying it as soon as possible and letting it sit for 15-20 minutes before washing.

Question 2

I'm sensitive to smells. How strong is the fragrance?

Accepted Answer

The product has a distinct, noticeable scent often described as a powdery or perfumed baby powder. A common point of feedback in reviews is that the fragrance can be strong for some. If you or your family members are sensitive to scents, this is an important consideration, as there is currently no unscented version available.

Question 3

Is it safe for all fabrics and colors?

Accepted Answer

Miss Mouth's is designed to be safe for use on most washable fabrics and colors. It's a popular choice for baby clothes, underwear, and table linens. However, as with any new product, we always suggest testing it on a small, hidden area of delicate fabrics (like silk or wool) or on very dark colors first to ensure colorfastness.

Question 4

The bottle says "no rinse," but do I really not have to rinse it before washing?

Accepted Answer

This is a great question based on user experience. While the "no rinse" instruction works for many, some customers—especially those with hard water—find that rinsing the treated area with water before tossing the item in the washer helps prevent any potential residue. If you notice stiffness after washing, trying a quick rinse beforehand usually solves it.

Question 5

How does it compare to a stain stick or other liquid removers?

Accepted Answer

Compared to many traditional stain sticks, users love the convenience and targeted application of the spray. In terms of performance, social media reviews frequently highlight its superior effectiveness on tough grease and oil-based stains where other products fall short. It's often used as a powerful pre-treatment rather than a standalone laundry additive like OxiClean.
