Question 1

Will these filters really fit my Coway Airmega AP-1512HH or 200M perfectly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. This set is specifically engineered to be a direct replacement for the OEM filter (Part #3304899). Users consistently report a perfect, snap-in fit identical to the original. A pro tip from several reviews: just ensure the tabs and slots are aligned correctly during installation for a seamless fit.

Question 2

How does the performance and air quality compare to the more expensive Coway brand filters?

Accepted Answer

Based on extensive user feedback, there's no noticeable difference in performance. The filters utilize premium HEPA and activated carbon materials, effectively capturing dust, pollen, and odors. Your purifier will run just as quietly and efficiently. The primary difference users celebrate is the significant cost savings.

Question 3

I've heard about third-party filters having a smell. Is that an issue here?

Accepted Answer

A small number of users have noted a slight "new product" smell from the carbon pre-filters upon first use, which is common with activated carbon. This odor is harmless and dissipates completely after running your purifier on high for a few hours. It does not affect the filter's purification ability.

Question 4

Does using a non-OEM filter void my Coway air purifier's warranty?

Accepted Answer

No, using a replacement filter from another brand does not void the warranty on your Coway air purifier unit itself. In the United States, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects consumers, preventing manufacturers from voiding warranties solely for using compatible third-party parts, as long as the part doesn't damage the machine.

Question 5

Is this a good value for someone with allergies or pets who runs their purifier constantly?

Accepted Answer

This is where the product truly shines. The 2+4 multi-pack offers exceptional value for high-use households. Parents and pet owners in reviews specifically mention that the cost savings allow them to replace filters more regularly—as recommended for optimal allergen and dander control—without the financial guilt of buying OEM.
