Question 1

Is the battery health guaranteed? I've seen complaints about drained batteries in renewed phones.

Accepted Answer

Most units ship with 85–95% battery capacity, though some fall slightly lower. Many TikTok reviewers recommend messaging the seller before purchase to ask for a specific battery health (like 90%+). If you receive one below 80%, most sellers offer a free exchange within 30 days.

Question 2

If I buy this renewed iPhone 12, will it come with charging accessories?

Accepted Answer

You'll typically get a USB-C to Lightning cable (sometimes third-party) and a SIM ejector tool, but no charging brick or EarPods—that's standard for all iPhone 12 models. Reddit users suggest budgeting for an official 20W adapter if you don't have one, as third-party cables can be finicky.

Question 3

Can I trust the "Unlocked" claim? Will it work on Verizon, T-Mobile, and overseas?

Accepted Answer

Yes—this renewed iPhone 12 is sim-unlocked for all major US carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) and most international GSM networks. One tip from YouTube reviewers: test it with your SIM immediately upon arrival, because a tiny number of units may still be carrier-locked due to refurbishment errors; your return window covers that.

Question 4

How noticeable are scratches or dents on the body?

Accepted Answer

Expect light micro-abrasions along the edges or back glass—that's part of a renewed device. A "Good" condition unit often has faint signs of use, while "Excellent" or "Premium" grades are nearly flawless. Many buyers on YouTube suggest choosing a higher grade if scratches bother you, and always using a case anyway.

Question 5

What's the catch versus buying a new iPhone 12?

Accepted Answer

The main trade-offs are battery aging (even renewed) and possibly missing Face ID or water-resistance seals. To mitigate this, look for sellers offering a 90-day warranty and a 30-day return policy. If long battery life is critical, the iPhone 13 renewed may be a smarter $50–$80 upgrade.
