Question 1

How does the sizing run? Should I order up?

Accepted Answer

Based on customer feedback, the vest has a snug, athletic fit. We strongly recommend consulting our detailed size chart (in the product images) rather than your usual size. If you plan to wear thicker layers underneath or prefer a looser fit, sizing up is a popular choice. Many happy customers on social media mention they are glad they ordered one size larger for comfort.

Question 2

Which battery pack should I buy, and how long does the heat last?

Accepted Answer

The vest requires a separate 7.4V battery pack with a DC 5.5*2.1mm plug. We recommend a quality 2-amp hour (Ah) power bank for optimal balance of runtime and weight. With a standard 2Ah battery, you can expect approximately 2-3 hours on the highest heat setting and 5-8 hours on low. A common tip from YouTube reviewers is to ensure the battery has the correct output voltage and plug size before purchasing.

Question 3

Is it truly machine washable? How do I care for it?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but proper care is essential for longevity. Always remove the battery and disconnect the controller before washing. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean. The most important step is to air dry it flat—never tumble dry, iron, or dry clean, as heat can damage the internal wiring. Following these steps helps maintain the heating elements, a point often emphasized by long-term users.

Question 4

What is the "Lights-Out" feature on the smart controller?

Accepted Answer

The "Lights-Out" function is a safety and battery-saving feature that automatically turns off the heating elements after 1 hour of continuous use on any setting. It's designed to prevent overheating and conserve battery life. Please note, as some TikTok users have pointed out, the controller interface itself is not backlit, so you may need a light source to see the settings clearly in the dark.

Question 5

Who is this heated vest best suited for?

Accepted Answer

This vest is perfect for anyone who needs portable, lightweight warmth for active or casual use in chilly weather—think dog walkers, outdoor commuters, sports fans, or for taking the edge off in a drafty office. It provides comfortable, supplemental heat. If you need intense, all-day heating for extreme cold or heavy labor, you might want to explore professional-grade heated gear, which is often bulkier and more expensive.
