Question 1

Will the clamp fit my specific desk? I'm worried about the thickness.

Accepted Answer

This is the most important step before buying! The clamp opens to approximately 2.5 inches (about 6.35 cm). We recommend measuring the thickness of your desk's edge or lip. Many happy customers on Reddit suggest this for standard desks, but if your desk has a drawer, a very thick rim, or is thicker than 2.5", you may want to consider a grommet-mount stand instead.

Question 2

How sturdy is it really? I have a 12.9" iPad Pro in a case.

Accepted Answer

Extremely sturdy. The stand features a robust dual-clamp design and metal-reinforced arms, which over 2,200 reviewers consistently praise for stability. While it holds devices up to 13" securely, a few users note that the *very heaviest* tablets at the maximum extension might cause a minor tilt. For typical use like typing, video calls, or watching content, it performs flawlessly.

Question 3

What's included in the box, and is it easy to set up?

Accepted Answer

You get the complete stand with both clamps, all necessary screws, and a hex key for tightening. No hidden parts to buy. Setup is straightforward and takes about 5-10 minutes. A pro-tip from YouTube reviewers: fully loosen the joints when first adjusting to find your perfect angle, then tighten them down.

Question 4

I'm buying this as a gift. How is it packaged?

Accepted Answer

Please note that the stand ships in protective, non-gift packaging (typically a plain brown box). It's a fantastic *functional* gift, but if you're looking for presentation-ready gift boxing, you may want to wrap it yourself. The product itself, however, has a sleek, all-black finish that looks great on any desk.

Question 5

Who is this stand best suited for?

Accepted Answer

It's a hit for anyone needing a reliable, hands-free viewing solution. Think remote workers for video calls, students for online lectures, chefs following recipes, crafters watching tutorials, or gamers streaming media. If your priority is a space-saving, rock-solid mount that offers full adjustability for a great price, this is an excellent choice. If you need to move your stand multiple times a day, a simpler, non-clamp stand might be more convenient.
