Question 1

Is the included stand adjustable, and is it stable?

Accepted Answer

The included stand offers tilt adjustment only—it does not adjust for height or swivel. While it gets the job done, many users on forums like Reddit mention it has a large footprint and can feel a bit wobbly. If ergonomics and desk space are a priority, we recommend planning to use a VESA mount (see next question).

Question 2

I want to use a monitor arm. Are there any compatibility issues?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is a key point. The monitor uses a standard 100x100mm VESA pattern, but the mounting holes are recessed. The screws provided with many third-party arms may be too short. You will likely need to source longer M4 screws (typically 10-12mm in length). This is a common note in setup videos and reviews, so it's best to be prepared.

Question 3

How does this monitor work with a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X?

Accepted Answer

It works well for console gaming, but requires a quick settings check. To use the high refresh rates, ensure the console's output is set to 1080p and enable Performance Mode. A small number of users reported flickering, which is usually resolved by using a high-quality HDMI 2.0 cable and turning on AMD FreeSync in the monitor's menu. For the simplest plug-and-play 4K experience, a native 4K display may be better.

Question 4

Is the 2560x1080 resolution sharp enough on a 30-inch screen?

Accepted Answer

This depends on your viewing distance and expectations. For gaming and general use at an arm's length (~2-3 feet), most users find it perfectly immersive and sharp. However, if you sit very close or primarily work with tiny text (like detailed spreadsheets or coding), you may notice slightly less sharpness compared to a higher-resolution monitor. The curved screen helps enhance the immersive feel at this resolution.

Question 5

What's the real difference between the 165Hz and 200Hz refresh rate?

Accepted Answer

The monitor's native, plug-and-play refresh rate is a fantastic 165Hz, which is extremely smooth for gaming. The 200Hz is an overclocked (OC) mode accessible through the monitor's settings. While some users run it stable at 200Hz, it's not guaranteed for all units and may require tweaking. The overwhelming consensus in reviews is that the 165Hz performance is the sweet spot for guaranteed, buttery-smooth gameplay.
