Question 1

Is the "shimmer" or metallic effect very bold, or is it subtle?

Accepted Answer

The shimmer effect is clearly visible and adds a beautiful, sparkling accent to your lines, especially on lighter paper. Many crafters on social media love how it makes greeting cards and journal headers stand out. It's designed to be a noticeable shine, though the intensity can vary slightly by color. For the most dramatic effect, we recommend using them on smooth, high-quality paper.

Question 2

What's the best paper to use to prevent bleeding or feathering?

Accepted Answer

These markers work best on thicker, smooth paper like cardstock, marker paper, or high-quality sketchbook paper. Some bleeding can occur on very thin printer paper. A pro-tip from experienced users: do a quick test on a corner of your project paper first. This ensures you get the clean, vibrant lines these markers are known for.

Question 3

How do I get the best results and prevent the markers from drying out?

Accepted Answer

For consistent ink flow, store them horizontally and give them a gentle shake before use if they've been sitting. Always press the cap until you hear a firm *click* to seal it properly—this is key for longevity. With proper care, they should last through many crafting sessions. Their durability is a big reason they're so popular for DIY projects and card-making.

Question 4

Are they suitable for beginners or younger artists?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! They are a fantastic, fun choice for hobbyists, journalers, and older kids (recommended 8+). The double-line tip is easy to use for drawing, writing, and doodling. They are specifically designed for crafts, cards, and creative play rather than fine art, making them a great, low-pressure tool to spark creativity.

Question 5

What does "self-outline" actually mean?

Accepted Answer

"Self-outline" refers to the unique dual-line tip of the marker. With a single stroke, it draws two parallel lines—a thicker, shimmer-filled center and a thinner outline. This creates a built-in outlined look effortlessly. It's a manual technique you control, not an automatic printing effect. This feature is why they're so loved for creating eye-catching lettering and decorative borders on crafts.
