Question 1

Is this headset comfortable for long gaming sessions, especially if I wear glasses or have a larger head?

Accepted Answer

The headset provides a secure fit, but comfort can vary. Many users find it perfect for standard sessions. However, some Reddit users with larger heads or glasses have mentioned the ear cups can feel snug during very long playtimes (4+ hours). For extended comfort, we recommend taking short breaks to adjust. If you have a particularly large head size, you might want to consider this.

Question 2

How does the microphone quality compare to popular standalone mics like the Blue Yeti?

Accepted Answer

For a bundled microphone, the AM6 performs impressively well, offering clear, broadcast-quality voice capture that's a huge leap over typical headset mics. While a dedicated premium mic like the Yeti may offer more nuanced control and slightly richer sound for professional studio work, countless TikTok and YouTube creators have praised this mic for providing exceptional value and clarity for starting out in streaming or podcasting.

Question 3

Is the 'noise cancellation' effective at blocking out keyboard clicks and background chatter?

Accepted Answer

The microphone features effective noise suppression to minimize constant background hums and fans, making your voice the clear focus. It's important to note that, as some reviewers have pointed out, it is not 100% magic—very sharp, close-up sounds like loud mechanical keyboard clicks may still be faintly picked up. For most home setups, it does an excellent job of delivering clean audio.

Question 4

Is this truly plug-and-play on a PlayStation 5, and what's included in the box?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's designed for easy console use! Simply connect the microphone's USB cable to your PS5 and plug the headphones into the 3.5mm jack on the microphone itself. The kit includes the AM6 RGB USB microphone, the H8 monitor headphones, a pop filter, a desktop stand, a 3.5mm audio cable, a 6.35mm (1/4") adapter, and a USB-C charging cable for the headphones. Everything you need to start streaming is right there.
