Question 1

I have sensitive skin. Are these truly hypoallergenic and will they irritate me?

Accepted Answer

While labeled hypoallergenic, we've noticed a segment of users with sensitive skin report redness or irritation upon removal. The adhesive is very strong, which can be harsh for some. If you have a known sensitivity to adhesives, you might consider doing a small patch test first or looking into specifically formulated sensitive-skin alternatives, like silicone options, which many in online communities recommend for this concern.

Question 2

Do they lay flat under tight clothing, or will they pucker and show?

Accepted Answer

This is a common point of feedback. Some users find they lay perfectly smooth, while others experience a slight puckering or wrinkling in the center, which can be visible under very thin, tight fabrics like jersey or silk. For the smoothest look, ensure your skin is completely clean, dry, and lotion-free before application, and press firmly from the center outward to minimize wrinkles.

Question 3

How well do they hold up to sweat and heat? Can I wear them for a summer wedding or dancing?

Accepted Answer

The adhesive is strong for normal, low-activity wear. However, based on numerous user reports from TikTok and review platforms, performance can vary with significant sweat or high humidity. For intense, all-day events in the heat, some users have experienced reduced hold. If your event will be very active or outdoors in warm weather, you may want to explore alternatives marketed specifically as "sweat-proof" or "water-resistant."

Question 4

What's the best way to remove them without it hurting or damaging my skin?

Accepted Answer

Great question! The key is to break down the adhesive gently. Do not pull them off dry. The most recommended method is to saturate the edges with a body oil, baby oil, or micellar water and let it soak in for 30-60 seconds. Then, slowly peel from one edge, applying more oil as you go. This method, frequently shared by users, makes removal much more comfortable.

Question 5

The pack says "nude," but will the color work for my medium or deep skin tone?

Accepted Answer

The included shade is a light, universal nude. Feedback indicates it works best for fair to light-medium skin tones. Users with medium, tan, or deep skin tones often mention that the pasties can be visibly lighter than their skin, making them more apparent under sheer or white clothing. If an exact match is crucial for you, you might want to search for brands that offer a more diverse shade range.
