Question 1

Is this real mulberry silk or just polyester satin?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it’s genuine 100% mulberry silk—not a satin blend. Many buyers confirm the smooth, breathable feel is authentic. TikTok users often compare it favorably to higher-end brands, noting it’s a great entry-level silk for the price.

Question 2

Will a standard size fit my pillow?

Accepted Answer

Our standard case fits typical 20x26 inch pillows well, but it’s designed as a snug fit. If you have a plush or queen-size insert, Reddit reviewers suggest sizing up to a queen case to avoid wrinkling and tightness.

Question 3

How do I care for it without ruining the silk?

Accepted Answer

Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with a mild detergent, then air dry or tumble dry on low. Avoid bleach and fabric softener—they weaken the silk fibers. Most users find it holds up beautifully for months with this routine.

Question 4

Does the hidden zipper really keep it in place?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the integrated zipper is a favorite feature—it prevents the case from slipping off flat or skinny pillows. Just make sure it’s fully zipped before sleeping. A few buyers noted it can snag if the zipper isn’t aligned, so zip slowly at first.

Question 5

Is this suitable for sensitive skin or acne?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The smooth, non-absorbent mulberry silk reduces friction and moisture loss, which helps minimize sleep lines and breakouts. Beauty vloggers on YouTube often recommend it for side sleepers with reactive skin as a gentler alternative to cotton.
