Question 1

I’ve heard some powders don’t mix well. How does this one dissolve, and what’s the best way to prepare it?

Accepted Answer

For best results, we recommend using a shaker bottle or blender bottle. While it mixes adequately with stirring, some users on Reddit noted that a vigorous shake in a sealed container prevents the minor clumping that can happen in cold water. Starting with a little warm water to dissolve the powder before adding cold water and ice is another popular hack for a perfectly smooth drink.

Question 2

Is the Fruit Punch flavor very sweet? I prefer a more subtle taste.

Accepted Answer

The Fruit Punch flavor is designed to be pleasantly flavorful to encourage hydration. However, taste is subjective. Many TikTok and YouTube reviewers suggest it’s on the sweeter side. If you're sensitive to sweetness, a great tip from the community is to use more water than the serving suggestion (16-20 oz instead of 12 oz) or to try our Unflavored version, which lets you control the taste completely.

Question 3

I follow a keto diet. Is this electrolyte powder suitable for me?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this electrolyte complex is keto-friendly. It contains only 2 grams of carbohydrates and 1 gram of sugar per serving, with no added sugars that would disrupt ketosis. It’s a popular choice in keto communities for replenishing electrolytes lost during the initial adaptation phase and beyond.

Question 4

How does Nutricost compare to more expensive brands like Liquid IV or LMNT?

Accepted Answer

Nutricost is praised for offering exceptional value. While brands like Liquid IV focus on added vitamins and convenience, and LMNT on high sodium/mineral doses for low-carb diets, Nutricost provides a balanced, effective electrolyte profile at a significantly lower cost per serving. It’s ideal for daily, high-volume use where budget is a factor. If you need very high sodium or a specific mineral profile, you might look to specialty brands, but for general hydration and value, our customers find Nutricost hard to beat.

Question 5

Can this cause stomach upset, and who is it best suited for?

Accepted Answer

The vast majority of users experience no issues. However, as with any new supplement, a small percentage of people with sensitive stomachs recommend starting with a half-serving to assess tolerance. This product is a fantastic fit for athletes, physically active individuals, those in hot climates, or anyone looking for an affordable way to enhance daily hydration. It’s also commonly used during travel or mild illness. If you have specific medical conditions, please consult your doctor.
