Question 1

Is the wall mounting difficult, and what tools do I need?

Accepted Answer

Most users find the installation straightforward. The kit includes a template, screws, and wall anchors. You'll need a drill, a level, a pencil, and a screwdriver. For standard drywall, it's a quick DIY job. A few reviewers on home improvement forums noted taking extra care with plaster or tile walls.

Question 2

Can I control everything from my phone, or do I need the remote?

Accepted Answer

You can control nearly all functions—power, temperature, mode, timer, and schedule—through the DREO app or with Alexa voice commands. The one exception is the oscillation direction, which must be adjusted manually by tilting the unit. This is a common point mentioned in video reviews.

Question 3

Is this heater safe and quiet enough for a bedroom or nursery?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is one of its most praised features. Its IP24 rating means it's protected against water splashes, making it safe for bathrooms and bedrooms. It operates very quietly, with many users on platforms like TikTok highlighting how it doesn't disturb sleep. The wall-mounted design also eliminates tip-over risks and keeps hot surfaces away from children and pets.

Question 4

How well does it heat larger or open-plan rooms?

Accepted Answer

It excels as a primary heat source for small to medium-sized rooms (like bedrooms, offices, or bathrooms) or as supplemental heat in larger areas. Based on user feedback, if you're trying to heat a very large, open-concept living space alone, you might want to consider it for a specific zone or look into a more powerful primary heating solution.

Question 5

What happens if there's an issue with the unit or the app connectivity?

Accepted Answer

DREO offers a standard warranty, and their support is generally responsive. While rare, if you experience cosmetic damage from shipping, contact the retailer or DREO directly. For occasional app connectivity hiccups—a minor point noted in some reviews—simply ensuring your heater and app are on the same Wi-Fi network and restarting the app usually resolves it.
