Question 1

I'm used to a full-size keyboard. Will I miss the numpad and function keys with this 75% layout?

Accepted Answer

The 75% layout is a popular compact format that retains the arrow keys and a column of navigation keys (like Delete and Page Up), but removes the numpad and dedicated function row. The F1-F12 keys are accessed by holding the "Fn" key along with the number row. Most users adapt within a day or two, appreciating the saved desk space. If you constantly use a numpad for data entry, this might not be the ideal layout for you.

Question 2

How is the build quality and typing feel in real use? Many reviews mention it's "premium."

Accepted Answer

The consensus from user feedback is that the build quality is a major highlight. The keyboard has a substantial weight that prevents sliding, and the gasket mount design provides a slight, satisfying bounce when typing that reduces fatigue and sound. As one Reddit user put it, "It feels like typing on a solid, well-tuned instrument, not a plastic toy."

Question 3

Is the TFT screen useful, or is it just a gimmick? I've seen mixed opinions online.

Accepted Answer

Its utility depends on your needs. It's great for at-a-glance info like battery level, connection mode, volume, and a custom clock or GIF. However, many TikTok and YouTube creators note the customization software can be finicky. Think of it as a cool bonus feature rather than a core reason to buy. If you don't customize it, it still functions well as a basic status display.

Question 4

What's the real-world battery life, and how reliable is the wireless connectivity?

Accepted Answer

With the RGB backlight on at a moderate brightness, you can expect roughly 20-30 hours of use. Turning RGB off extends this significantly. For connectivity, the 2.4GHz dongle offers gaming-grade reliability with virtually no lag. Bluetooth is solid for daily tasks and multi-device switching, though a small number of users report occasional interference in crowded wireless environments—keeping the dongle closer to the keyboard usually solves this.

Question 5

I'm new to mechanical keyboards. Is the F75 MAX too complicated to set up?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! You can plug in the USB-C cable or dongle and start typing right away with a great experience. The hot-swap sockets mean you can *later* easily change switches without soldering, but you don't need to. The learning curve comes if you want to deeply customize the RGB, knob functions, or TFT screen. For basic use, it's very plug-and-play. Many new users love it as their first "step-up" keyboard from a standard office peripheral.
