Question 1

Will this BONTEC monitor arm fit my monitor (size, weight, and VESA pattern)?

Accepted Answer

It supports 15–32 inch screens, weighs 6.6–19.8 lbs, and uses VESA 75x75 or 100x100. If your monitor falls within those specs, it should fit. Some users note near-max weight can feel less stable, so try to stay within the recommended range.

Question 2

How do I choose between the C-clamp and grommet base, and will my desk work with it?

Accepted Answer

Use the C-clamp on desks roughly 0.75–3 inches thick. If you can drill a hole or already have a desk with a grommet hole, the grommet base works well. A few users reported clamp-fit issues on very thick or irregular desks, so check your desk dimensions before mounting.

Question 3

Is the gas spring durable over time? Will it sag after months of use?

Accepted Answer

The gas spring provides smooth, full-motion adjustment and is generally reliable. However, a small number of users have reported sagging or creaking after months. Staying within the weight rating and keeping the arm clean and well-maintained helps preserve performance.

Question 4

What about warranty, returns, and after-sales support?

Accepted Answer

BONTEC offers a standard warranty; if you need a replacement or want to arrange a return, contact the seller. Some customers have reported slower responses from support, so keep documentation handy and reach out promptly if you need help.

Question 5

Is this a good value compared with similar arms?

Accepted Answer

For a mid-range price, it delivers solid motion, flexible base options, and space-saving design. If you require very high load capacity, easier long-term durability, or top-tier service, you might consider higher-end brands. For many setups, however, this BONTEC arm offers excellent value.
