Question 1

Are these paddles truly USAPA approved for tournament play?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. This specific model of Raw Carbon paddles is officially approved by the USAPA for recreational and sanctioned tournament play. Many players in our reviews have confirmed using them in league matches without issue. You can verify the approval on the USAPA's official equipment list with the model number provided in your set.

Question 2

I have larger hands. How is the grip size and feel?

Accepted Answer

The standard grip runs slightly snug. Based on social media feedback from players, if you have medium-to-large hands or prefer a fuller feel, you will likely want to add an overgrip. This is a common and inexpensive customization. The stock grip performs well but can get slippery with heavy sweat, so an overgrip also improves sweat absorption for longer play sessions.

Question 3

How durable is this set for regular outdoor play?

Accepted Answer

The T700 carbon fiber face and honeycomb core are built for durability and hold up very well. Users consistently praise the solid, non-flexing feel. It's worth noting that a small number of frequent players have mentioned the edge guard can show wear (like chipping) after several months of aggressive play on abrasive outdoor courts. For most recreational players, the paddles offer excellent long-term value.

Question 4

What's included, and is the bag high-quality?

Accepted Answer

You get 2 or 4 paddles (depending on the set), 4 pickleballs, and a portable carry bag. The paddles and balls are the highlight, offering great performance. Honestly, the bag is a functional basic carrier—it's a simple nylon sack with a zipper, perfect for getting your gear to the court. As mentioned in many TikTok unboxings, don't expect a heavily padded, premium travel case; it's a convenient included bonus.

Question 5

Who is this pickleball set the best fit for?

Accepted Answer

This set is a fantastic fit for beginners looking for a complete, high-value starter kit, intermediate players wanting to upgrade to carbon fiber without a huge investment, and gift-givers seeking an impressive all-in-one package. It's less suited for advanced, daily tournament players who may prioritize ultra-premium grips and edge construction, though many still find it a great backup or training paddle.
