Question 1

Is the orchid truly in bloom when it arrives, and will all the buds open?

Accepted Answer

Your orchid will be shipped at the optimal stage for transport, which typically means it will arrive with healthy buds. While we strive for every bud to flourish, it's common for orchids (especially after shipping) to experience "bud blast," where some buds may dry up and fall due to environmental change. Many happy customers report successful blooms, but we recommend being prepared for this natural possibility. Once acclimated, the remaining flowers can last for weeks.

Question 2

How is the plant packaged to prevent damage during shipping?

Accepted Answer

We use specialized packaging designed to secure the pot and protect the delicate flower spikes. However, as noted in some online reviews, shipping carriers can be rough. The plant is stabilized within the box, but despite our best efforts, transit damage can occasionally occur. We recommend inspecting your plant immediately upon arrival.

Question 3

What is your policy if the plant arrives damaged or in poor health?

Accepted Answer

Your satisfaction is our priority. If your orchid arrives with significant damage (e.g., broken main stem, crushed pot, or severely wilted leaves), please contact our customer support within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We have a hassle-free replacement or refund policy to resolve such issues, as we understand the disappointment reflected in some customer feedback.

Question 4

Is this orchid safe for my cats and dogs?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The Phalaenopsis Orchid is widely recognized as non-toxic to both cats and dogs, making it a wonderful choice for pet-friendly homes. This is a key reason it's popular as a worry-free houseplant gift among pet owners.

Question 5

How do I care for my orchid after the flowers fall off to get it to rebloom?

Accepted Answer

Great question! With proper care, your orchid can rebloom. After the flowers drop, cut the stem just above a node. Continue providing bright, indirect light and water only when the roots look silvery (about once a week). A common tip from experienced plant parents is to give it a slight temperature drop at night in the fall to encourage a new flower spike. We provide a basic care card, and we recommend searching for "Phalaenopsis care" on platforms like YouTube for detailed visual guides.
