Question 1

How sturdy is the build, and can I mount it on a monitor arm?

Accepted Answer

The computer itself is robust, but several users have noted the included stand can feel light and may wobble slightly on an unsteady desk. The good news is that the ThinkCentre AIO supports a standard 100x100mm VESA mount. If desk space or stability is a concern, many happy customers have easily attached it to a monitor arm for a rock-solid, flexible setup.

Question 2

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage after purchase?

Accepted Answer

This is a key point for tech-savvy buyers. Unlike traditional desktops, this All-in-One is not designed for easy user upgrades. The components are integrated for a slim profile. We highly recommend configuring it with the RAM and SSD you'll need for the foreseeable future, as noted in many online reviews.

Question 3

What's the quality of the included keyboard and mouse?

Accepted Answer

The package includes basic wired Lenovo keyboard and mouse. They are functional for everyday office work, but as some TikTok and Reddit users have mentioned, they are not backlit or premium-feel. If you're a heavy typist or prefer wireless peripherals, you may want to consider using your own, which plug-and-play seamlessly with the multiple USB ports.

Question 4

Is this suitable for tasks like video editing or light gaming?

Accepted Answer

With its powerful 10-core i7 processor and 32GB of fast DDR5 RAM, it handles photo editing, programming, and moderate multitasking excellently. For light gaming (esports titles, older games) and 1080p video editing, it's capable, but be aware that it uses integrated graphics, not a dedicated GPU. For serious gaming or 4K video work, a desktop with a discrete graphics card is a better alternative, as discussed in some user comparisons.

Question 5

How does the HDMI-in port work, and is it useful?

Accepted Answer

The HDMI-in is a versatile feature that lets you use the large IPS display as a monitor for another device, like a laptop or game console. To use it, you'll connect your device to the HDMI-in port and then switch the input source using the on-screen display (OSD) menu buttons on the monitor itself. While users love the functionality, a common tip is to keep the remote (if purchased separately) or the user manual handy for easier input switching.
