Question 1

Will the hard glass surface damage or wear out my mouse feet faster?

Accepted Answer

The tempered glass surface is very smooth, but it is harder than cloth or plastic pads. Many users on forums like Reddit recommend that for long-term use, especially with heavier pressure, harder mouse feet (like pure PTFE, ceramic, or glass skates) can be optimal for durability. Standard mouse feet will work perfectly but may show wear slightly sooner than on a soft pad.

Question 2

Does the mousepad slip around on smooth desks?

Accepted Answer

The pad has a silicone rubber base designed for grip. It works well on most wood and laminate desks. However, a common note from reviewers is that on very smooth surfaces like glass desks or certain polished finishes, the pad might slide during intense use. A simple fix mentioned by many TikTok users is to place a small non-slip shelf liner underneath for absolute security.

Question 3

Is this pad comfortable for all-day use, both for gaming and work?

Accepted Answer

This comes down to personal preference. The surface is unyielding and fast, which competitive gamers love for precision. However, if you're used to a soft, cushioned pad for wrist support, the hard feel may cause fatigue during very long, stationary sessions. We recommend it primarily for users who prioritize glide performance and speed over plush comfort.

Question 4

The product is listed as "Large." What exactly can I fit on it?

Accepted Answer

The dimensions are 410mm x 310mm (approx. 16.1" x 12.2"). This is a great size for a low-sensitivity gaming setup with plenty of mouse room, but it's not an "XXL" desk mat. It will comfortably fit a standard keyboard and mouse, or a full-sized mouse area with your keyboard placed off to the side. Check your desk space against these measurements to ensure it meets your needs.

Question 5

How does the XVX Glass Mousepad compare to more expensive brands?

Accepted Answer

The overwhelming consensus in reviews is that this pad offers exceptional value. It delivers the core benefit of a premium glass pad—an incredibly consistent, fast glide—at a fraction of the cost of brands like Skypad. The main differences you'll find with higher-priced alternatives are often in packaging, proprietary surface coatings, or included accessories, rather than a dramatic difference in everyday glide performance.
